Over the course of three years, I contributed to Star Atlas across multiple stages of production, taking on responsibilities in both vehicle and environment design. Initially brought on to create marketing illustrations and promotional key art, my role expanded as the project grew, leading to the development of a new line of alien spacecraft under the guidance of Vehicle Art Director Gary Sanchez.

I finalized two original spaceship designs, produced accompanying key artworks, and began development on a third before transitioning to the environment team. There, I collaborated on the visual development of a racing track and later helped establish the exterior and interior of a completely new world, contributing to its overall visual identity and spatial design.

Throughout production, I combined sketching, Blender, and VR to rapidly iterate on designs while maintaining accurate scale and spatial readability. Building concepts in 3D allowed ideas to be communicated more effectively across disciplines and provided a reliable foundation for evaluating proportions, materials, and composition.

By bringing concept models directly into Unreal Engine 5, the team could validate designs within the game environment early in development, helping bridge the gap between concept art and production.
